NASA has just released a game called “Moonbase Alpha” on Steam. This is interesting because it’s not a common third person shooter (infamous), but instead a third person infrastructure building real time strategy. All of the missions are to construct and maintain the US moonbase with a group of peers from the online community. That’s it. No aliens, evil robots, or devilish moon demons to deal with. NASA has developed the game and you get to interact with accurate virtual futuristic technology without having to travel to Florida or go to space camp. A wonderful way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
